This yearly event was celebrated in style with the Bridge Street staff dressing in their favourite character costumes! Students had to pair up the teachers who had chosen famous ‘couples’ in literature. Their particular favourites were Wally and Wilma from ‘Where’s Wally,” the BFG, Mary Poppins and a whole fleet of witches and professors from Harry Potter. This culminated in a Mad Hatter’s tea party, where the corridors of the school were lined with food laden tables and both students and staff alike shared a celebratory cream tea! We also invited the KS2 students over and our Y10 students played games with them. A heart-warming scene on a delightful afternoon.
