During National Careers Week (4th – 9th March 2024) – Bridge Street School set up a mock interview event for students in Years 9 to 11. The goal was to help students practice interviews and learn from industry professionals in a safe space.
Throughout the event, students showcased a remarkable level of maturity and professionalism, demonstrating their eagerness to learn and grow. The mock interviews gave them a taste of what real job interviews are like and helped them get ready for the future.
A diverse range of professionals generously volunteered their time to participate in the event, including representatives from organisations such as Rolls Royce, Derby College, and Derby County in the Community. Their support was amazing and made a big impact on our students. Their advice helped students feel more confident about their career paths. We’re grateful for their help in guiding our students toward success.
