We are thrilled to share the incredible success of Mental Health Week 2024 across all our schools! This year, our theme was “Keep Moving for Mental Health”, and the enthusiasm and participation from students and staff alike were truly inspiring.
From Minecraft yoga to running the daily mile, penalty shootouts, and engaging art activities, our schools were buzzing with energy and positivity throughout the week. We witnessed a remarkable commitment to both physical activity and mental well-being.
A special mention goes to the staff at Bridge Street School, who not only wholeheartedly participated in the activities but also demonstrated solidarity by wearing green to symbolise their support for mental health awareness. Their commitment demonstrates the ethos of our school community; this simple yet powerful gesture highlighted our collective commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment where mental health is prioritised and celebrated.
The importance of maintaining a healthy mind and body cannot be overstated, especially in today’s fast-paced world. By encouraging movement and providing opportunities for students and staff to engage in various activities, we hope to foster a culture of holistic well-being within our school community.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated, organised, and supported Mental Health Week 2024.
Let’s remember to carry forward the spirit of “Keep Moving for Mental Health” in our everyday lives. Whether it’s taking a walk outdoors, practicing mindfulness exercises, or engaging in creative pursuits, let’s continue to prioritise our mental well-being and support each other on this journey.
