Please be aware that disinformation has been circulating nationally in schools, suggesting that extremist groups are targeting school communities. The Department for Education (DfE) is aware of these claims and has confirmed that this is disinformation.
However, we recognise that receiving such information can understandably cause anxiety within the school community.
We ask that if you do have a concern surrounding the above, to continue to report through our usual school channels. You can ask to speak to the DSL at your child’s school or you may want to pass this on to your child’s keyworker/teacher. We also have our ‘Report a worry’ button at the bottom of all our website pages where you can inform us anonymously of a concern.
