During the summer term pupils in KS2 take part in an Enterprise project where the aim is for them to make a profit. All pupils are given a set budget to get their project off the ground. In Math lessons pupils focus on budgets and use their addition and subtraction skills to enable them to make informed decisions about which of their ideas will be the most profitable. They then set to work to source the materials they need for their projects and make clear plans. As the project moves on they use English lessons to focus on advertising and how to create a successful advert. The project ends with inviting parent/carers and the older pupils to purchase their creations during an Enterprise afternoon. All pupils enjoy this project and they look forward to showcasing their work and making a profit.
